Recently, I read an article in the Twin Cities Business Magazine talking about Jiffy Lube and how they offer discounts on oil changes to the passing motorists:

Essentially, when business is slow, Jiffy Lube sends their employees to stand by a busy street holding a sign offering a discount if the passers by get their oil changed right away. In a sense, Jiffy Lube is offering passing motorists a Sudden Deal-- though limiting themselves to a small area and making the employee really work for his $x/hr!
SuddenDeals.com has been and remains a leader and what we do is starting to be understood and is catching on.
